From October 26-27, 2023, the Union of Cooperatives of Thua Thien Hue (TTHCA) in collaboration with the consultant for the “Updating the Map System Based on Reality” package implemented a training course on “Map Transfer Techniques” for management staff of the Union of Cooperatives of Thua Thien Hue and cooperatives participating in the FSC forest certification.
Attending the training course were representatives of the AIN 8748 Hue project management board, CCCSC, the Union of Cooperatives of Thua Thien Hue, and technical staff from 5 cooperatives participating in the FSC forest certification (Thủy Phương Agricultural Cooperative, Hòa Mỹ, Thuỷ Phù, Phù Bài and Thuỷ Dương).
The training course was designed to provide management staff with the knowledge and skills needed to update the map system of their cooperatives based on reality. The course covered the following topics:
- Introduction to map management
- Map updating methods
- Use of GIS software
The training course was highly rated by the participants, who said that it provided them with the necessary knowledge and skills to update the map system of their cooperatives.
